![]() ![]() That is literally the ONLY reason the lady gave. I recently applied with this agency, and despite not hearing back from them AT ALL about my application, even though I called and left messages, no one ever called me back to tell me the status (I had to keep calling) I was denied because my husband has a credit score that is below what they want. I personally would look for other rental agencies if you can, but WK seems to have a strong hold on the Lititz/Ephrata area. You have go to be - kidding me, ?! I understand taxes etc goes up but come on 2020 an exception should have been made, wasnt just my rent that went up, every other WK went up as well. This one also really chapped me, I was laid off during COVID for 6 weeks, I had just started back up and surprise there was a rent increase letter. The one other sticking point was back in the fall of 2016 they repaved the parking lot where i was staying and when i asked if they had any place i can park my truck due to this they more or less said oh well not our problem to figure out. It was advertised the very next day and 2 days later a showing. They said that i can put on the move out form my estimated date of move out and they will wait until that time to start advertising. I bought a house earlier this year and waited until 2 weeks before closing to issue it. The other issue was with issuing our 60 day move out notice and showing the property. I was not made aware of this until mine expired and they called and said i had been hit with a late fee. What they dont tell you is if you have your rent on auto pay(which i did) that there is an expiration date on the auto draft. I do have some issues that i want future tenants to consider. ![]() Rented with W&K from Sept 2015-Apr 2021, over that 5.5 years i would say the service when it came to repairs, minor problems ETC was pretty good. So if you can handle stress and arent in a hurry to move, this would be great for you. When I asked about this, I feel like I was given the run around. After many showings and a denial, it was said to me by an agent that theyve seen people with great credit get 7-8 denials, which was really hard to hear, so just be prepared. We did get approved shortly after this, which was great. I dont think we were discriminated against at all when denied, but I dont know how they can prove they arent discriminating against anyone with out any more information or documentation. That wasnt clear to us when we initially started looking, and giving a deposit right away does not help at all and will make it harder if you are looking with more than one company. If you do get denied, you will not be given a reason why. I hope anyone looking into using Wolf & Kline knows it is not first come first serve. While the process was insanely confusing and stressful, Im (so far) glad it worked out. I recently started renting a townhouse from Wolf & Kline. ![]()
